TALC has a strong interest in assisting different industrial sectors and organisations to develop improved capability in people issues, web based knowledge systems and business processes.

Apart from assisting the Transport & Logistics sector and a wide range of industrial sectors in Australia and overseas, TALC is also responsible for a comprehensive Internet-based business framework known as the Totally Intelligent Logistics Inquiry Service (TILIS®).

The vision of TILIS® is to create a shared infrastructure focusing on providing businesses with electronic exchange capabilities to improve discovery, sharing, trading, and access to learning content and information services.

Dr Daryll Hull Managing Director
Daryll was the Foundation Director of the Centre. He has been guiding the Centre's programmes since 2002.

He is also presently Adjunct Professor and Senior Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales in the Australian School of Business. He is a member of the Management Committee of the Industrial Relations Research Centre (IRRC).

He is an Executive Member of the Australian Logistics Council (Chair of the Sustainability Group), and a Member of the NSW combined freight Councils FALCONSW

Daryll has established a solid reputation as an innovative organisation change consultant, competent senior executive and high-level advisor to government over three decades. He has an ongoing interest in organisation renewal and performance measurement.

His areas of expertise include economic and business development, industrial and employee relations, organisation change and development, facilitation, policy and planning, small business incubation and self-management/self-government.

During his management career he has held senior positions in the public and private sector in Australia.

He co-founded one of the first publicly listed venture capital companies in Australia. He has held appointments as a Director and Chair of a number of successful computer software companies, and he has designed and managed several science and technology parks and small business incubators in Australia and overseas.

 

Marcel Chaloupka

Marcel Chaloupka (EDMEDiA)Marcel brings over 20years IT experience and capability and has been the managing director of EDMEDiA Australia since 1998. Marcel is a knowledge/learning business systems consultant, developer and researcher. Marcel’s focus is on IT as an enabler for people, performance and productivity via end-to-end leveraging and integration of enterprise learning, learning business management and Human resource systems.

Prior to EDMEDiA, Marcel worked for Imagineering, University of Sydney and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Marcel has led many joint projects involving infrastructure, Computer Based Learning, Learning Systems such as CommWay, CommSee, GLUE, Counter Intelligence, the networking of the Bank’s Branch network including the technical advisor for the implementation of the Bank’s CMS CommSee.
Morten Skou Nielsen

Morten NielsenMorten is doing an internship with TALC in connection with his Master’s degree in International Technology Management with specialty in Global Business Development from Aalborg University, Denmark. Morten has worked with current industrial topics such as Lean, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Innovation, Organisational Design and Change Management.

Jason Antony

Jason AntonyJason is the Office Co-ordinator and support person for the TALC team. He also works for the Industrial Relations Research Centre at The University of New South Wales. Jason takes a keen interest in various web technologies, W3C recommendations and accessibility guidelines. When graced with some spare moments, he indulges in other passions: photography, typography and music.
